Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages, especially children in early intervention settings, to improve their speech, language, voice, and fluency skills. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using standardized tools and clinical observations Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on improving communication skills and swallowing safety Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques for pediatric populations and other age groups Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic patient care Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to maximize outcomes Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication development at home or in school environments Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential Prior experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in early intervention settings Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology of speech and swallowing, and relevant medical terminology Experience conducting patient assessments and interpreting clinical data related to anatomy and physiology of the speech mechanism Familiarity with school-based environments and the unique needs of students with communication challenges Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, patients, and families Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach Join us in empowering individuals through expert communication support!
