Speech-Language Pathologist

OpTech has a Tier 1 Hospital-base client with an immediate need for a Speech Language Pathologist.

Location:

Detroit, MI 13 week assignment with possible extension.

Shift times:

10 hour shifts, Wednesday - Saturday, 8am - 6pm (start times are negotiable)

Compensation:

Up to $60/hour!

Required:

Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited program B.S., Speech Pathology; M.S., preferred One year of speech pathology experience in a a health setting

BLS JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the therapy manager, implements treatment programs to provide in-home speech-language pathology services to assist clients with communication deficits.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• One (1) year of speech pathology experience in a health setting is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
• Must have sufficient physical energy and tolerance to meet the demands of the job.
• Knowledge of normal communications process, development and disorder to evaluate client and implement approved treatment techniques

EDUCATION

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

• Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology.
• Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
