Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children and adults to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as experience in patient assessment and care. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support tailored to each patient's needs. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Attend IEP, consult services, experience Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays. Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and treatment options. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals in school settings to support students' communication needs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid CA state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions. ASHA Certification Experience in school based is preferred, particularly in school or early intervention settings.
