Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals of the pediatric population, focusing on diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your patients through effective therapy and intervention strategies. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes. Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays. Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans. Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuous education. Requirements Master's or Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions. Experience in patient care, particularly in pediatrics or school settings is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment strategies. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Familiarity with early intervention practices is a plus.
