Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy and telespeech services within a school setting. This role supports virtual speech-language services for students in the kindergarten through middle school age range, with caseloads varying from approximately 40 to 57 students depending on the time of year. Assignments will align with the practitioner's skill set and proximity within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality telepractice speech-language pathology services tailored to individual student needs. Manage caseloads while adhering to virtual school-based protocols and supports. Collaborate with supervisors to tailor assignments and caseloads. Maintain professional documentation and compliance with licensure and contract requirements.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active Maryland state licensure for speech-language pathology. Minimum of three years of virtual school-based experience, with at least two years in the last five years post-pandemic. Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology. Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively support students remotely. Ability to maintain schedules aligning with a 35-hour full-time workweek on Eastern Standard Time. Successful completion of state-mandated background checks and credentialing.
Location:
Remote work servicing school students in the Silver Spring, MD area, aligned with Eastern Time Zone hours. Perks include a full-time contract with structured scheduling and opportunities to serve a diverse student population via teletherapy. This role requires submission of detailed credentials including current licenses and references for credentialing purposes. Qualified candidates prepared to provide virtual speech and language therapies within schools are encouraged to apply promptly to meet contract and credentialing timelines.
