In addition, a Speech and Language Pathologist is expected to: Provide consultation to classroom teachers on the development of language. Assist teachers and teacher aides in developing language-based classroom activities. Assist parents in learning ways to increase language stimulation in the home. Provide individual services to children considered to have speech and/or language disabilities. Assess needs in the area of speech, language, and hearing and prepare diagnostic reports. Serve as a member of a team that will develop an individual education program for each of the pupils enrolled. Other such duties as required by the Special Education Administrator.

Qualifications:

Experience with children is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred Certification(s) in relevant field CPI certification
