Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Make a meaningful difference by supporting students' communication and language development in an engaging educational environment. Opportunity exists for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make an impact within a school setting. Ideal candidates are credentialed as an SLP-CCC and bring experience or a strong interest in working within a school environment. Your expertise will help empower students to reach their full academic and personal potential.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) State licensure or eligibility as required for school-based positions Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly desired Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and staff Strong documentation skills and familiarity with IEPs Passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized plans to address student needs Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech and language goals within the classroom Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, keeping thorough and timely records Engage families through regular updates and strategies to support student growth Observe and track progress, making data-informed adjustments as necessary This contract-to-hire role is perfect for a professional ready to grow within a supportive school community.
