Speech-Language Pathologist Golden Crest Nursing Centre - 2.7 North Providence, RI Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN | Per diem From $42 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications CPR Certification Skilled nursing facility experience Caregiving documentation requirements BLS Certification Care documentation Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Communication Sciences & Disorders Full Job Description Speech Language Pathologist, SLP Golden Crest Nursing Centre 100 Smithfield Road, North Providence, RI 02904 Job Type Full-Time and Per Diem / PRN (As Needed) Position Summary Golden Crest Nursing Centre is seeking compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, assessment, and treatment services to residents in our skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility, helping them achieve their highest level of communication, cognitive-linguistic function, and swallowing safety. Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide skilled speech-language pathology services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards. Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to maximize resident outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal requirements. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning. Educate residents, families, and staff regarding communication and swallowing strategies. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Current Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist License in good standing. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain. Ability to work in a skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation setting. Excellent communication, clinical, and documentation skills. Preferred Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or subacute rehabilitation. CPR certification. #IND2
