Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital teletherapy and in-person services to a diverse pediatric population. This position offers the flexibility of working two days per week, with the choice of Monday, Wednesday, or Friday--an ideal schedule for professionals seeking work-life balance or to supplement existing commitments. The focus is on fostering communication growth and supporting students' academic and social development in a dynamic school environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered Bilingual proficiency required to support multilingual students and families Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Expertise in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery is highly valued Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, documentation, and family engagement skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students, identifying strengths and areas of need Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services, both in person and via teletherapy Provide culturally responsive support to bilingual and ESL students Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success Accurately document progress, maintain records, and complete required reports in a timely manner This contract role offers flexibility and the chance to create meaningful change for students and families.
