Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Transform students' lives by supporting communication and language skills in an engaging educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and is ready to make a difference throughout the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC certification Proven experience providing speech and language services in an educational setting Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Adaptability to manage a diverse caseload of students
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, both individually and in groups, as outlined in IEPs Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates as required Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for each student's success Offer guidance to classroom staff on strategies that enhance communication in the classroom
