JOB DETAILS
This travel Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is based in a welcoming school district in Anderson, South Carolina, serving a PreK student population. Anderson offers a blend of small-city convenience and Southern charm, with a vibrant historic downtown, local shops and restaurants, and a friendly, community-focused atmosphere. Situated near beautiful Lake Hartwell, the area provides ample opportunities for boating, fishing, walking trails, and outdoor recreation. Anderson's location in the Upstate region puts you within comfortable driving distance of Greenville and the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, giving you easy access to arts, culture, and weekend getaways while still enjoying a relaxed daily pace. The position is full-time in a PreK school setting with a typical workweek of 37.5 hours. The shift structure is based on a standard school day, supporting consistency in your weekly schedule and allowing for predictable evenings and weekends. As a travel SLP-CF, you will have the benefit of a clear structure, set hours, and the opportunity to gain rich school-based experience within a supportive district environment. You will manage a caseload of approximately 40-60 preschool students, providing direct therapy, conducting assessments, and contributing to eligibility and IEP processes. Students may present with a range of communication needs, including articulation/phonological disorders, language delays, fluency concerns, and early social communication challenges. Your day will typically include a mix of small-group and individual sessions, screenings, evaluations, IEP-related responsibilities, progress monitoring, and collaboration time with teachers and staff. The district can provide qualified CF supervision, offering you a structured Clinical Fellowship experience with mentorship, feedback, and skill-building opportunities. You can expect a collaborative culture in which speech-language pathologists work closely with general and special education teachers, school psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, and administrators to support students' communication and academic success. The focus is on creating consistent, supportive environments across settings, with strong emphasis on student well-being and positive school climate. Typical responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged students, writing evaluation reports and contributing to eligibility determinations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals, providing therapy integrated with classroom activities when appropriate, maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress reports, and participating in team meetings and parent conferences. You will also provide education to families and staff on strategies to support communication in the classroom and at home. This role offers the chance to build a strong foundational skill set as a school-based SLP while completing your Clinical Fellowship, with room to grow in areas such as early language, speech sound disorders, and school-based collaboration. The district's structure and CF supervision create a clear professional development pathway, helping you transition confidently from academic training to independent practice.REQUIREMENTS
