Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic educational setting near Boiling Springs, SC. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support students' communication, language, and swallowing needs in a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to develop creative approaches to address individualized student needs Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement therapy to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student progress Provide direct services to students in group and individual settings Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and compliance with school and state standards Offer consultative services to educational professionals regarding the integration of communication strategies in the classroom Enjoy the unique rewards of helping students thrive academically and socially while working in a supportive, innovative school environment.
