Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave coverage assignment. This contract position is conveniently located near Campobello, SC, and offers a meaningful opportunity to deliver essential speech and language services in a school setting. You'll work closely with students, families, and educational professionals, helping young learners overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
Key Experience and Skills:
Active SLP license (State-required certification) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Background in pediatric and school-based speech therapy Experience assessing and delivering individualized treatment plans Strong communication and collaboration abilities Healthcare experience as an SLP is an advantage
Your Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Complete assessments, evaluations, and progress reports as required Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to foster a supportive learning environment Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district and state regulations Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and offer expert recommendations Support students in achieving measurable progress toward speech and language goals
