Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple elementary school sites near Catawba, SC. This role is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in educational environments and is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of K-5th grade learners. Work directly with a caseload of 40 students, collaborating with staff and families to create meaningful progress in speech and language skills.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are a Clinical Fellow (CF) Active South Carolina Board of LLR license in Speech-Language Pathology Valid South Carolina Educator Certificate Previous experience in a school setting is highly desired Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to multiple school sites and collaborate with a diverse team
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services for elementary-aged students (K-5), supporting a caseload of 40 children Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and track students' progress toward IEP goals Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student achievement Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required by school and district Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative solutions for student needs Offer support and educational resources to caregivers and school staff as needed This contract opportunity is scheduled from late July 2026 through late May 2027, with consistent weekday hours (7:00am-2:30pm) to help you maintain work-life balance.
