Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated professional ready to make a meaningful difference with elementary school students in a full-time, onsite contract position. Using your expertise in speech-language pathology, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to foster student communication success within a supportive academic environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language services in schools Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary-aged students in both individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support each student's learning goals and progress Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in compliance with school and professional standards Develop goals and participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the educational team Adapt interventions and approaches to meet diverse student needs within the school community This on-site, full-time opportunity provides a chance to positively impact student development while working alongside supportive staff in a vibrant elementary setting.
