Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students across elementary, middle, and high schools by providing essential speech-language services in a welcoming educational setting. As a contracted SLP, you'll collaborate with faculty and families to foster communication development and make a real difference in students' daily lives.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license Certification in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings Strong assessment, intervention, and therapy planning skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adaptable and resourceful when addressing diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions to students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines Support generalization of communication skills within classroom and school environments Enjoy the flexibility and impact that comes with a contract role in an energetic school community near Columbia, SC.
