Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role dedicated to supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Work with an engaged student population, providing essential speech and language services to help them thrive academically and socially. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, collaborating with educators and families in a supportive school environment committed to growth and positive outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in South Carolina or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate considered Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged children individually and in groups Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support student needs Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology The district is actively scheduling interviews and extending offers for qualified candidates eager to make a meaningful impact.
