Step into a rewarding contract role supporting PreK-8th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Columbia, SC area. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid State of South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license South Carolina teacher certification Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Prior experience delivering speech and language services in a school or similar pediatric setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and families Experience with diverse caseloads, IEP processes, and school documentation preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK-8th grade students Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to address each student's needs Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining clear and thorough documentation Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to facilitate student communication skills Consult and partner with classroom teachers for strategies and accommodations Monitor and report on each student's progress toward therapy goals This position offers the chance to use your skills and expertise in a supportive, school-based setting.
