Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Columbia, SC, supporting a local school district for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, beginning August 1, 2026, through May 29, 2027. As an essential member of the educational team, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students, helping them improve communication skills vital for academic success.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports Qualifications and experience required: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC and/or School certification preferred) Experience working in school settings Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children Excellent communication and organizational skills This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in student lives while working within a supportive educational environment.
