Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by supporting students' communication skills in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) who enjoys collaborating with educators, families, and students to help every learner thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC certification (ASHA) Active or eligible licensure to practice speech-language pathology Experience in a school-based environment preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse needs
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines Provide direct therapy services for students across various age groups Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and engagement Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Offer consultative support and resources to school staff and parents to foster inclusive learning environments Stay current with best practices and participate in relevant professional development
