Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a supportive school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with elementary students across multiple locations. In this contract role, you'll collaborate with school staff to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy for students in grades K-5. You'll be part of a dynamic environment that values your expertise and clinical acumen.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status Valid South Carolina LLR license for SLP South Carolina Educator Certificate Previous experience in a school setting working with elementary-aged children is preferred Strong communication skills, organization, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students (K-5) across multiple school sites Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and goals tailored to each student's unique needs Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and document progress in compliance with state and district guidelines Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based teams as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment This full-time opportunity runs from late July 2026 through late May 2027, with weekday hours from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
