Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking contract positions for the 2026-2027 academic year near Greenville, SC. Three openings provide varied settings and caseloads, ensuring a fulfilling experience and professional growth alongside a supportive multi-level SLP network.
Open Positions:
Assignment 1: Serve at a self-contained school for ages 3-21, working with medically fragile and profoundly impaired students. Knowledge of AAC devices and a compassionate approach are essential. Assignment 2: Work across two elementary schools in Greer with full-time SLP colleagues at each. Enjoy collaboration and a balanced caseload in a collaborative environment. Assignment 3: Support students at an elementary school, Greenville's virtual academy, and an additional location (to be finalized). Work closely with an on-site SLP and provide services both in-person and virtually.
Key Qualifications:
Active South Carolina SLP License required South Carolina Educator Certification needed SLP-CCC strongly preferred; SLP-CFs may be considered based on support availability Previous school-based SLP experience highly desirable AAC device experience essential (particularly for Assignment 1) Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to diverse student populations Collaborate with educators, families, and other SLP colleagues Participate in school-based multidisciplinary teams Develop and implement treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Engage in required pre and post-planning days as needed Imagine working in an outstanding district renowned for its resources, mentorship opportunities, hands-on system training, and robust SLP support structures.
