Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who hold their CCC are needed for full-time, contract positions in an excellent district renowned for its support and resources. There are three distinct assignments available, each offering unique caseloads and collaborative environments—review the options below and choose where your expertise will shine.
Assignment Options:
Work with medically fragile and profoundly impaired students (ages 3-21) in a self-contained setting alongside another SLP, utilizing AAC device knowledge and compassion for complex needs. Serve two elementary campuses in Greer, SC, splitting time between each site with the collaboration of on-site SLPs, supporting students' emerging communication skills. Support students at an elementary campus, the district's virtual academy, plus a third location (to be announced), with strong team support at every site. What you'll need: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SC SLP license and SC Educator Certification Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Strong understanding of AAC devices especially for the self-contained setting Dedication to working compassionately with diverse student populations Your responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop effective IEPs Deliver therapy services, adapting to both individual and group settings Collaborate closely with teachers, SLP mentors, and families to foster student progress Document progress, participate in meetings, and actively engage in professional development Help to nurture a positive, inclusive, and communicative learning experience Take advantage of an exceptional support system: personal SLP mentoring, hands-on system training, abundant materials/resources, and multi-level SLP collaboration.
