Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is suited for a certified, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working in secondary education and itinerant caseloads. The position involves supporting students in both middle and high school settings, providing critical speech and language services to enhance student communication skills and academic success.
Position Details:
Location:
Greenwood, SC Full-time, 4 days per week Contract length: 190 days, starting July 17th, 2026 Two SLP roles available: Secondary Education caseload focusing on middle and high school students Mixed Itinerant caseload supporting multiple schools within the district
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all licensing and state regulations Participate in staff meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification and license Experience working with middle and high school students in a school setting Ability to manage both secondary education and itinerant caseloads effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes through collaborative teamwork This contract role in Greenwood offers a balanced four-day workweek, focusing on impactful service delivery within the school community.
