Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students with speech and language needs in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time, contract opportunity offers an engaging schedule of four days per week, providing a valuable work-life balance while helping students thrive. Two positions are available, including one that welcomes experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Caseloads include secondary education and a mixed itinerant assignment, offering variety and professional growth.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible Experience in school settings highly preferred; pediatric or healthcare experience a plus Comfort with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery Open to experienced SLPAs for one of the roles Familiarity with secondary education/student populations and/or mixed caseloads Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders with evidence-based approaches Provide therapy for students in secondary educational settings and/or across multiple sites per caseload needs Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support student progress Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reporting Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for student services This role begins July 17th, 2026, running the length of a 190-day school contract. Compensation is competitive, with rates ranging from $40-50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
