Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving multiple elementary schools for the upcoming academic year. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CF), you'll provide assessment, intervention, and support to a vibrant population of K-5 students. Your expertise will help children achieve communication milestones in an encouraging, student-focused environment from July 2026 through May 2027.
Key qualifications and background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility Valid South Carolina LLR (Labor, Licensing and Regulation) credential South Carolina Educator Certificate Experience in pediatric/elementary school settings is highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to collaborative teamwork with diverse colleagues and families What you'll do: Manage a caseload of around 40 elementary students across multiple schools Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students, tracking progress and documenting outcomes Liaise with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment Support students' communication needs in both individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences This full-time assignment follows a 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. schedule, providing structured workdays and the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives throughout the school year.
