Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or experienced SLPA, just outside of Hodges and Greenwood, SC. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic school environment, guiding students to reach their full communication potential across secondary and mixed itinerant caseloads. With a four-day workweek and a 190-day contract starting July 17th, 2026, this role fits professionals looking for full-time consistency with added flexibility.
Key Qualifications:
Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Background in school-based settings, pediatric speech and language disorders, or teletherapy Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers, families, and support staff Experience managing secondary education and/or itinerant caseloads desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver quality speech-language pathology services to students in secondary classrooms and through itinerant support as assigned Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress in compliance with school and legal guidelines Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to support student goals Provide consultative support and training to educators and caregivers Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to reach students across various sites Candidates will enjoy the security of a full-time role (four days/week), working with engaged teams across diverse student populations within a structured school schedule.
