Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Located in Inman, SC, this onsite contract position offers a unique opportunity to support students with complex communication needs in a specialized school setting. The program serves students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Rett Syndrome, and other significant developmental and medical diagnoses. Many students benefit from individualized, multimodal communication strategies, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in expanding their expertise working with this population within a highly supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language services utilizing a 3:1 service model workload approach Collaborate closely with a team of seven experienced SLPs and professionals including PTs, OTs, Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI), and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Support students using individualized and multimodal communication techniques, incorporating AAC as appropriate Focus exclusively on clinical duties without case management responsibilities or travel requirements
Qualifications:
Valid SLP license and Educator Certification required Experience or interest in AAC is a plus, with opportunities for skill development supported Passionate about working with children with complex communication challenges Strong collaborative skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
