Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Contribute your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a meaningful impact in a vibrant elementary school environment. This is an onsite contract assignment, working across multiple school locations near Kershaw, SC, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 40 elementary students. You'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team during the academic year, from late July to late May, keeping consistent weekday hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid ASHA Certification (CCC) and active licensure South Carolina Board of LLR credentials South Carolina Educator Certificate Experience in school-based settings preferred Ability to effectively serve a variety of speech and language needs in an elementary-age population Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills Open to both experienced SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive onsite speech-language therapy services to K-5 students Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements Provide ongoing progress monitoring and adjust interventions as necessary Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrative staff to foster student success
