Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This role places you in dynamic educational settings, working with students from kindergarten through fifth grade across multiple school sites. The position is onsite and encompasses 35-37.5 hours per week (7:00am-2:30pm), running from late July through late May.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status Active South Carolina LLR (Labor, Licensing and Regulation) license Current South Carolina Educator Certificate Direct experience providing speech-language services in elementary school settings Knowledge of school-based SLP best practices Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work onsite exclusively (virtual/remote work is not available)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students (K-5th grade) Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain detailed documentation Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement Use evidence-based strategies and stay current with SLP school protocols Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions To apply, please submit a blinded (de-identified) resume and a copy of your ASHA and South Carolina certifications.
