Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting position supporting students' speech and language development in a welcoming school environment near Lexington, SC! This contract opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering stability and room to make a sustained impact. You'll play a pivotal role providing services across two schools (elementary and middle), supporting caseloads typically around 45-50 students. Ideal candidates blend clinical expertise with a passion for pediatric communication. Whether you are a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), recent graduate (CFY), or possess experience in school or healthcare pediatric settings, your skills and compassion will help students thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in educational or healthcare settings Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff Ability to independently manage caseloads and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and identify students' speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver therapy services in both individual and small group settings Complete all required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Serve as a resource for educators and families regarding effective communication strategies
