Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Union, South Carolina. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek, serving a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The assignment is onsite only and provides the opportunity to work directly within the educational environment to support student communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student learning Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid South Carolina license for Speech-Language Pathology Possess an active Educator Certification for the state of South Carolina Credentialed as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred Prior experience working with school-age children from kindergarten through 12th grade Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel
