Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower student communication and make a difference in their educational journey by providing dedicated support within a vibrant school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract opportunity offers professionals the chance to partner with educators and families to ensure every learner has the tools to succeed.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as an SLP Prior experience working in a school environment is a plus Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Aptitude for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and familiesResponsibilities:
Provide assessment and therapy services to students from a variety of backgrounds, tailoring support to individual needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Consult with teachers and staff to incorporate language and communication goals in the classroom Offer guidance and resources to families, empowering them to support student progress at home Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student plans and progress Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices Working in this supportive school environment, you will find opportunities to grow and contribute meaningfully.
