Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a welcoming school environment near Varnville, SC. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and documentation in accordance with district and compliance guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and support students' integration into the school environment Offer strategies and resources to classroom teachers to help support communication goals in general education settings This role offers the chance to work within a supportive school community while making a measurable difference in students' lives.
