Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a special focus on pediatrics and early intervention. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using established evaluation tools and techniques Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including goals for speech therapy and communication improvement Deliver engaging therapy sessions for pediatric patients, focusing on early intervention strategies to support developmental milestones Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators—to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Educate patients and their families about speech therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies to support ongoing progress at home Stay current with advancements in physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, medical terminology, and best practices in patient assessment Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in accordance with state or national licensing boards Prior school experience or pediatric clinical experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to pediatrics and early intervention programs Demonstrated ability to perform thorough patient assessments and interpret clinical data accurately Excellent understanding of physiology, anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practice Passion for providing compassionate patient care with a focus on improving communication skills and swallowing safety Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple cases simultaneously Join us in empowering individuals through expert speech therapy!
