Posting Details Posting Details Logo Institution The University of South Dakota Working Title Speech-Language Pathologist Posting Number F01888P Department USD-Communication Sciences & Disorders Physical Location of Position (City) Sioux Falls Posting Text The University of South Dakota invites applications for a full-time, ten-month Speech-Language Pathologist position based in Sioux Falls within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The position is set to begin on August 22, 2026.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in speech-language pathology. Ability to provide clinical education and supervision. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP. Possession of or eligibility for South Dakota state licensure as an
SLP. ASHA CCC-SLP
certification or eligibility.
Responsibilities:
Supervise SLP graduate student clinicians at the Scottish Rite Children's Clinic for Language and Speech. Provide direct clinical services to patients across a wide range of SLP practice areas, including articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders (receptive and expressive), dyslexia, fluency, voice and resonance, social communication, cognitive-communication, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and accent modification. Mentor and educate graduate student clinicians in evidence-based assessment and intervention practices. Contribute to the department, college, and university through service. Collaborate with faculty, clinical staff, and community partners to support the clinical education mission of the program.
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications.
