Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services, utilizing telespeech methods to provide support to students. This role is based in Yankton, SD, and involves working directly with school-aged children to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services via telespeech platforms to students Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning
Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA Experience with school-based speech-language pathology preferred Proficiency in telespeech technology and remote service delivery Strong understanding of speech and language development in children Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid state licensure as a speech-language pathologist
