Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by providing skilled speech therapy services on a contract basis. This opportunity spans from August 4 to October 3, 2026, offering you the chance to cover a maternity leave and work five days a week in a vibrant school environment near Lebanon, TN. You'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to support students' communication and language development.
What you bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Strong experience in school-based speech therapy, pediatrics, or healthcare SLP settings Current state licensure (or eligibility) Familiarity with IEP development, progress tracking, and documentation Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills What you'll do: Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students of varying ages and needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and provide input on eligibility and programming Maintain detailed progress notes and required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Deliver therapy in both individual and small group settings This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding short-term role in a welcoming school setting, with the flexibility to grow your experience and build new connections within the field.
