Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing specialized speech and language therapy services covering a maternity leave from August 4 through October 3, 2026. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives across five days each week in a school-based setting near Mount Juliet, TN.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license and appropriate state credentials Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility for either Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations Skilled in a wide range of therapy techniques for supporting diverse student needs Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in alignment with their IEP goals Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive evaluations for students referred for speech and language services Develop treatment plans based on assessment results and monitor progress Document all therapy activity in compliance with school and state requirements Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
