Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the full school year, supporting middle and high school students in a vibrant educational setting near Madison, TN. This opportunity welcomes both experienced clinicians (SLP-CCC) and passionate new graduates (SLP-CFY) eager to make a positive difference in students' lives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist. SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted - new graduates encouraged to apply! Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school teams. Experience with adolescent or school-aged populations is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in middle and high school students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Conduct screenings and progress monitoring to support student success. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies. Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes. Provide both direct and indirect services in individual and group settings according to student needs.
