Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Ballinger, TX. This role focuses on serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade with an estimated caseload of 50 students, providing essential speech and language support within the school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments SLPA credential for assistants interested in school-based roles Familiarity with K-8 speech and language developmental milestones Ability to manage caseload efficiently while delivering individualized therapy
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for students Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation of student goals, therapy sessions, and progress reports Participate in meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team focused on student success
