At Bay Area Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to helping individuals of all ages reach their fullest potential through compassionate, high-quality therapy services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team in Baytown, Texas. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). This role also includes supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based, patient-centered practices Treat speech, language, voice, fluency, communication, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive care Educate and support families with strategies to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress Supervise and mentor an SLPA in accordance with state and professional guidelinesRequirements:
Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist CCC-SLP credential and qualifications required to supervise an SLPA Experience evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and assistive communication technology is a plus Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred Why Join Bay Area Rehabilitation Center?
