Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking a talented and passionate bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification for a full-time contract opportunity in an educational setting near Cibolo, TX. This engaging role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing essential speech and language services to diverse student populations. The assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 3, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Bilingual proficiency; able to deliver services in both English and another language Valid state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Comfortable working full time across a school calendar schedule Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Prior experience in a school setting preferred Ability to supervise or mentor support staff as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to a culturally and linguistically diverse caseload Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility and review meetings Provide supervision and support for related personnel as required Support school-wide initiatives for communication development This position offers the fulfillment of supporting student success in a vibrant, multicultural school community while applying your specialized bilingual skills.
