Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Enjoy a dynamic role during the 2026-2027 school year providing vital services while collaborating within an engaging educational setting close to Cypress, TX. Preferred candidates will have a passion for making a difference in students' language, communication, and academic success. You'll work onsite, managing a caseload of around 60 students, occasionally traveling between up to two schools. This position values flexibility and welcomes both Clinical Fellows and CCC-SLPs, with leadership potential for those holding their CCCs through supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Texas SLP license required Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Clinical Fellowship applicants encouraged; CCC-SLPs highly desired Eagerness to work with elementary-age students Comfort with providing supervision if holding CCCs Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to ensure continuity of care Supervise Clinical Fellows when applicable Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings Travel between two schools as needed
