Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language support in a dynamic K-12 school environment. This full-time, in-person opportunity, starting for the 2026-2027 school year, is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants who are passionate about fostering communication growth in children and adolescents. Work alongside dedicated professionals and help create an inclusive atmosphere where every student's voice can be heard.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (for SLPs) SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials eligible for Texas licensure Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students in a school setting Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and interventions Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing both individual and group therapy Collaborative, flexible, and eager to participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across all grade levels Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and required school activities Support inclusive education and provide training or resources to staff as needed You'll enjoy a contract role that allows you to develop meaningful relationships with students and staff while refining your professional skills in a supportive educational setting.
