Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist this summer! Multiple contract opportunities are available for experienced SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence. This is a unique chance to provide compensatory services and support a diverse range of students. Assignments are onsite only, with a Tuesday through Thursday schedule and hours that may vary, allowing for flexibility during summer months. Preferred candidates are collaborative, adaptable, and excited to work with students across all grade levels. While the district continues to assess program needs, proactive candidates can express their interest now to be considered as caseloads and service schedules are finalized.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred Ability to provide onsite services across various grades Flexibility with caseloads and scheduling changes Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to students (compensatory services) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements Adapt to varying caseload sizes and schedules as assigned If you're committed to helping students thrive and looking to make a positive impact during the summer, this is your opportunity!
