Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Fort Stockton, TX, supporting 2nd through 8th grade students. This position is ideal for an SLP looking to engage in a rewarding travel role within a small, close-knit school district that values dedicated professionals. With a focus on pediatric speech and language services, you will work across multiple campuses with minimal travel time, ensuring meaningful impact on students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to approximately 40-50 students in grades 2-8 Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators and staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license Credentials including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in pediatric speech and language therapy Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent
Location and Work Environment:
Based in Fort Stockton, TX, within a supportive school district Full-time position, Monday through Friday Minimal travel between campuses Affordable housing available in a school-employee apartment community
