Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support senior high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time SLP position centers around providing essential speech and language services to 11th and 12th-grade students in a dynamic school environment near Frisco, TX. The caseload includes approximately 40 students, with a focus on direct intervention, evaluations, and collaborative support as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications:
Current, active Texas SLP License ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a high school or similar educational setting highly valued Expertise in evaluating students, managing IEPs, and providing evidence-based therapy Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and indirect therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students Create and monitor IEP goals in partnership with students, families, and educators Work closely with special education staff, general education teachers, and administrators Document progress and provide suggestions for classroom supports as needed Offer professional guidance and resources to families and school teams The position is onsite with a consistent, full-time schedule throughout the school year: August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
