Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early childhood services. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a professionally rewarding environment where you'll make a measurable impact supporting young learners and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Texas SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Solid foundation in school-based settings, ideally working with early childhood students Proficiency conducting speech and language evaluations and supporting the development and delivery of IEPs Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, administrators, and families Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation detail
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to early childhood students in a school environment Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals with an emphasis on collaborative, student-centered planning Engage as a valued member of the special education team, working hand-in-hand with educators, staff, and families Provide both direct therapy and consultative services to students and stakeholders Maintain thorough and accurate documentation according to school and state requirements
