Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position is located near Frisco, TX, and will serve students in a middle school setting. The assignment offers the chance to provide speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 50 students, supporting their communication growth and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
Holds an active Texas SLP license
Preferred:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a school-based environment, particularly with middle school-aged students Expertise in conducting speech/language evaluations, developing IEP goals, and maintaining thorough documentation Strong collaboration and communication skills Reliable transportation
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to middle school students Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop, document, and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs Work closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support the success of each student Maintain timely and accurate records of all services provided The selection process includes a concise virtual interview (15-30 minutes), offering a convenient way to showcase your skills and experience.
